Terms and Conditions

We, JUST IN CAST GmbH, are a casting agency that connects artists, models, actors, dancers, moderators, and other creative talents (hereinafter referred to as “casts”) with clients.

We are continuously looking for dedicated talents in the following areas:

1. Acting (with completed training or references)
2. New Faces & emerging talents
3. Fashion models (with runway and shooting experience)
4. Dance (with training or proven experience)
5. Moderation (with training or relevant experience)

These terms and conditions apply to the application process as well as the use of our online services. For paid assignments arranged by us, the respective terms of the agency contract shall apply, provided that it has been signed by you.

The application portal allows you to apply online for inclusion in our database. By submitting your application, a contract is formed between you and us based on these terms and conditions. By activating the corresponding checkbox during the registration process, you accept these conditions. Deviations shall only apply if agreed upon in writing.

Our application portal is open to all individuals with a genuine interest in being represented by us. However, there is no entitlement to inclusion in our database or to placement in assignments.

Your application with us is non-exclusive. You are free at any time to apply to other agencies or work independently.

Applying through our portal is free of charge. Only if we successfully place you in a paid assignment will we receive a commission from your fee in accordance with section 6.

In the “New Faces” category, we create professional images as part of an agency shoot to represent you in our database. The following rules apply:

The costs for the images we create will only be charged upon successful placement in your first assignment. In this case, your fee will be reduced by a one-time contribution of €50.00 plus VAT for the images, regardless of the agreed agency commission.

This fee also applies if you leave the agency at your own request. It solely represents a contribution towards the cost of creating images for presentation on our website. The usage rights of the images remain with JUST IN CAST. For non-commercial use, the images can be purchased directly from the photographer.

To apply for inclusion in our database, you must complete the application form in full and submit it to us. Only complete applications can be processed.

If you are under 18 years old, we require the consent of your parents or legal guardians for your application. A corresponding template will be provided as a PDF.

After submitting your application form and, if required, receiving parental or guardian consent, you will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials. If you are accepted into our database, you can manage your information in the “My Profile” section and are required to keep it up to date.

If we believe that we can place you with our clients, we will include you in our database. However, we reserve the right to reject applications at any time without giving reasons. In such cases, we will inform you and delete your data.

Even after being included in our database, you are not obligated to accept assignments or bookings.

By submitting your application, you agree to the following:

You guarantee that there are no agreements with third parties (e.g., exclusive contracts with other agencies) that would prevent your inclusion in our database or your placement by us.

You guarantee that providing your photos and publishing them on our website in accordance with section 3.6 does not infringe any third-party rights. A signed image release is required.

You confirm that all information provided in your application is accurate. You are also required to keep your profile up to date and protect your login credentials from unauthorized access.

You agree to use our platform and your profile solely for its intended purpose. In particular, storing or distributing illegal, offensive, racist, extremist, degrading, or pornographic content is prohibited.

You indemnify us against all claims from third parties arising from a breach of the obligations set out in sections 4.1 to 4.4, provided that you are responsible for such breach.

If we arrange an appointment with you (e.g., for a casting or client presentation), you are required to attend on time. If you fail to attend due to reasons within your control, you will be liable for any resulting damages.

If you are accepted into our database and have signed a separate agency framework agreement, your advantage is that we first search our internal database for suitable talents when clients make requests. If we consider you a good fit, we will contact you and discuss whether and under what conditions you are willing to take on the assignment, including your fee.

If we request your availability for a specific date and you confirm, you are obligated to keep that date free until we inform you otherwise. If the appointment is canceled, no claims arise against us or our clients.

If a client wishes to book you and you agree to the terms, a binding booking is only concluded through a separate written agreement signed by both parties (individual assignment). Only after returning the signed agreement will you have a claim to payment. You authorize us to represent you regarding usage rights. You are not obligated to accept a contract.

If an assignment is concluded, you are obligated to fulfill it. You must also provide all necessary documents and information required for execution and payment. You indemnify us against all claims arising from a breach for which you are responsible.

You acknowledge that bookings are made based on your provided information and images. If you cannot fulfill an assignment due to outdated information, you are liable for any resulting damages.

If we successfully place you with a client, we receive the agreed fee. The specific compensation is defined in the individual assignment. Typically, our commission is 20% of the total amount, meaning you receive 80%.

The contract between you and us is concluded for an indefinite period and begins with the submission of your application.

You may terminate the contract at any time without giving reasons, effective at the end of the following month. After termination, your data will be deleted.

We may also terminate the contract at any time without giving reasons. Your data will be deleted upon termination.

Assignments already agreed upon remain unaffected by termination and must be fulfilled.

If you culpably violate these terms, you are obligated to compensate us for any resulting damage.

You agree that your personal data may be processed in accordance with applicable laws, particularly GDPR.

Your data will only be shared with clients as necessary for contract fulfillment.

We also work with international partners.

You explicitly consent to the use of your data for placement purposes.

Data transfers outside the EU may occur and may involve lower levels of protection.

You may revoke your consent at any time.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. You will be notified by email.

If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.

German law applies exclusively.
